1 Small Step for Mankind, 1,740,000 steps for Charity We are proud to announce our company-wide walking challenge for June 2025, raising funds for our chosen charity partner, Matt's House! Our team has committed to an ambitious goal: collectively walking the equivalent distance of the entire Welsh coastline through daily step targets.

Our Commitment to Community Impact

This June, every member of the Dezrez team will walk 10,000 steps daily, totaling approximately 1,680 miles across the month – equivalent to Wales' complete coastline! This initiative demonstrates our ongoing commitment to Matt's House. Matt's House holds particular significance for our organisation. Located in Swansea, Matt's Cafe provides essential services to community members in need, offering nutritious meals and maintaining dignity for vulnerable individuals in our area.

Challenge Structure and Team Participation

The initiative is organised into teams of four participants, creating accountability whilst fostering healthy competition amongst colleagues. Each team member must achieve the daily 10,000-step target for the challenge's duration. Teams will track their progress throughout June, which can be viewed at the button below:

Our Partnership with Matt's House

Our relationship with Matt's House extends beyond financial support. We maintain an active volunteer programme, with two staff members dedicating time on the first Monday of each month to support café operations. This hands-on involvement includes meal preparation, client service, and donation management. Successful completion of our walking challenge will generate significant funds for Matt's House operations. This contribution will directly support:

• Daily meal provision for Swansea's population in need
• Maintenance of safe, dignified spaces for vulnerable community members
• Essential services that address immediate needs whilst supporting longer-term stability
• Local community strengthening through sustained charitable investment
