Shani fell into conveyancing by accident. Originally an HR Manager, she began studying law with the Open University while working full-time as a paralegal in Commercial Property at Hugh James. Within weeks of working in property, she knew it was where she belonged.
Now four years at DezrezLegal, she started as an assistant to Kate Packer and hasn’t looked back.
Compassionate, resilient and a self-confessed workaholic, Shani believes empathy and thick skin are essential in conveyancing. For her, DezrezLegal is family — supportive, people-focused and somewhere she wouldn’t want to leave.
Fuelled by 10–15 cappuccinos a day, she’d love to live in Germany (where she spent much of her childhood) — or Lake Como as a close second.
Married for 22 years with three children, three dogs and a grandbaby arriving in 2026, she loves reading, travelling and going to music concerts with her teenage daughter.
