Laura’s journey into conveyancing began during her law degree, where she excelled in property-related modules and won an award in her second year for achieving the highest results in Land and Property Law. That achievement led to a week’s work experience at a London-based solicitor’s firm within their conveyancing department and she has worked in the sector ever since graduating.
Laura joined DezrezLegal in September 2022 as a remote worker and continues to thrive in the role. She believes attention to detail is one of the most important skills in conveyancing, particularly when navigating complex title matters that require a sharp and careful eye.
Having worked at both high street and large global firms, Laura says DezrezLegal stands out for its friendly, personable atmosphere. The positive environment and supportive culture make it her favourite firm she’s worked for by far.
When it comes to fuel for the day, she enjoys both tea and coffee — her tea strong and sweet, and her coffee iced.
As for her dream home, it depends on the day! One moment she’s picturing a cosy cottage in a rural village, the next an apartment in New York City. Outside of work, Laura keeps busy at the gym, travelling the world, and attending music concerts whenever she can.
