Bethan’s childhood career ambitions were to become either a binman or a lawyer – thankfully for us, she chose the latter! She originally qualified in Criminal Law and spent 10 years practising criminal defence work. Following Legal Aid cuts, she decided it was time for a new challenge and was fortunate to find a firm willing to train her in conveyancing. Fast forward 11 years, and she hasn’t looked back.
Bethan joined DezrezLegal as a Fee Earner in June 2025. She believes empathy is one of the most important skills in conveyancing – understanding the stress clients are under and building genuine trust makes all the difference when dealing with life-changing transactions.
What stands out to her at DezrezLegal is the incredible morale across the company. The willingness to help one another and celebrate each other’s successes creates a true team spirit – something that’s invaluable in a fast-paced and often high-pressure sector.
Her tea is sacred (and must be made by her!), so if she’s not in charge of the kettle, she’ll happily take a coffee with sugar. Outside of work, Bethan is a huge music lover, especially live music and festivals like Glastonbury. In fact, she’s a self-confessed human jukebox!
Her dream home? Somewhere by the sea, with a balcony where she can sit back and listen to the waves.
